Today we had an exceptional visit from the Prefects of the Grand Est Region, led by Mrs Josiane Chevalier, Prefect of the Grand Est Region and the Bas-Rhin. This was an opportunity for us to present the Institute and the new robotic platforms, including a presentation of robots from CMR Surgical, Medtronic and Intuitive.
This visit underlines the existing link between IRCAD and the French State, as President Emmanuel Macron had specified during the ceremony of decoration of Professor Jacques Marescaux to the rank of Commander of the Legion of Honor.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
