The auditorium “Jacques Marescaux” was inaugurated by Prof. Antoine Maalouf, President of the French Hospital of the Levant in Beirut (Lebanon) and President of IRCAD Lebanon, on Saturday, July 20, with Jacques & Alice Marescaux and Michel Deneken, President of the University of Strasbourg.
In autumn 2019, this brand-new auditorium, equipped with 100 seats, will welcome surgeons from all countries in the Middle East to acquire training in the latest practices of minimally invasive surgery.
The training center will be the 4th international branch of IRCAD after Taiwan in 2008, Barretos (Sao Paulo) in 2011, and Rio de Janeiro in 2017.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
