IRCAD 3, the extension of our facility dedicated to #surgical #robotics, was inaugurated on Friday, October 15, 2021. It was an amazing evening filled with emotion and fine speeches, with a live presentation of our new robotic labs:
– The CMR Surgical lab: a spin-off from Cambridge University, which demonstrated Versius, its video-assisted surgical robotic system.
– The Medtronic lab: with the Mazor™ robot for robot-assisted spine surgery, the Stealth Autoguide™ cranial robotic guidance platform robot for intracerebral navigation, and the new Hugo™ RAS system, which has just been CE marked for urological and gynecologic surgery. This very robot will also be dedicated to digestive and thoracic surgery, once trademarked.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
