To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Strasbourg and Boston’s twinning, the IRCAD launches the following lecture:
“IMAGE-GUIDED MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY: REVOLUTION IS ON ITS WAY – ADVANCES IN STRASBOURG AND BOSTON”

Professor Jacques Marescaux will demonstrate all achievements made in Strasbourg together with Professor Luc Soler, in charge of IRCAD’s Research and Development department in computer science and medical imaging.
Professor Patricia Sylla, experienced surgeon on natural orifice surgery (Boston – Harvard University), will demonstrate the advances made in the U.S. Professor David Rattner, chairman (Boston – Harvard University), will share his view on the future of surgery live from Boston by videoconference.
Later, there will be some time for a cocktail and for some music at the IRCAD. Indeed, a group of young people having participated in Strasbourg-Boston exchanges will sing an adapted version of the song “Femme libérée”, along with Cookie Dingler.
