Last week, we had the honor of giving a tour of our Institute to Mr. Eugene A. Woods, President and CEO of Atrium Health, one of the leading, nonprofit health systems in the United States. Mr. Woods is an inspiring and charismatic individual who fully shares the values of the Institute and whom we are delighted to welcome to our “IRCAD Family”.
He was accompanied by a delegation from Wake Forest University and several Presidents and Vice-Presidents of prestigious medical device companies, such as Siemens, Stryker, Pentax and Johnson & Johnson.
The Consul General of the United States, in Strasbourg, also honored us with her participation in this tour.
This was an opportunity for us to present IRCAD in great detail, since we anticipate a mirror institute (IRCAD North America) will open its doors in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2024.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
