L’IRCAD célèbre le lancement de la stratégie mondiale de l’OMS pour éliminer le cancer du col de l’utérus !
Hier, l’Institut s’est illuminé aux couleurs de la lutte contre le cancer du col de l’utérus. En France, chaque année, 3 000 femmes sont diagnostiquées d’un cancer du col de l’utérus et 1 000 femmes meurent de cette maladie. Pourtant, son éradication est à la portée de tous et la chirurgie ne doit même pas être évoquée car le cancer du col de l’utérus est évitable, grâce à la vaccination et au dépistage.
C’est pourquoi l’OMS a lancé une stratégie pour éliminer le cancer du col de l’utérus en 2020, impliquant 194 pays dans le monde. Cette année, pour représenter la France, après la Ville de Paris en 2020, l’OMS a choisi l’IRCAD, identifié pour son fort engagement dans la lutte contre le cancer.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
