Endoscopic Management of Surgical and Interventional Complications Advanced Course
Full immersion in interventional GI endoscopy
This course will focus on endoscopic therapy for the management of surgical and interventional complications in gastrointestinal and biliopancreatic diseases.
Flexible endotherapy has become paramount in these indications over the last few decades and has now replaced surgical repair as a first-line approach in many cases.
These treatments remain complex and require a multidisciplinary approach, with knowledge of all the techniques available, as well as a personalized selection of treatments according to clinical and anatomical presentations.
Over 2 days of theoretical sessions, we will review both gastrointestinal and biliopancreatic complications management and will have the opportunity to train on the most important procedures on tissue and animal models in the lab.
