Robotic Pediatric Surgery and Urology Advanced Course

Full immersion in robotic pediatric surgery and urology

Explore the innovative techniques of robotic pediatric surgery and urology!

Minimally invasive surgery has come a long way since the 1980s, when pioneers first started demonstrating that all types of malformations could be managed
using laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, retroperitoneoscopy, subcutaneous videosurgery, videosurgery combined
with endoluminal endoscopy, and robotic surgery.
Today it has become undeniable that minimally invasive surgery is, without a doubt, feasible and safe.

This 2-day course will cover a broad spectrum of surgical procedures in robotic pediatric surgery and urology, and will be divided into two parts with one morning dedicated to theoretical training, and the rest of the course entirely dedicated to hands-on training.

Participants will make the most of IRCAD’s state-of-the-art facilities and practice on pelvic trainers, simulators and live tissue, under the supervision of the world’s most skilled experts. The objective is to master the use of the latest generation of robotic systems, in order to implement their use in the operating room as safely as possible.
