Full immersion robotic urologic surgery
Surgical progress combined with robotic assistance and conventional laparoscopy have gradually taken off and led to enhanced precision surgery. This robotic urologic course and all urological procedures using these robot-assisted techniques make up IRCAD training programs in urological surgery.
Considering the development of robotic surgery, the IRCAD urology incorporated a purely robotic course with theoretical sessions, live broadcasts and training workshops on anatomical specimens using the surgical robotic systems.

Course objectives
- To give surgeons the opportunity to use anatomical training models to perform robotic radical prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic radical nephrectomy, and robotic cystectomy
- To allow surgeons to attend live surgery cases performed by experts in their regular operating environment
- To determine the standards of operative techniques demonstrating robotic radical prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic radical nephrectomy, and robotic cystectomy using lectures and pre-recorded live procedures
