New milestone achieved at IRCAD France for the upcoming robotic revolution with a unique flexible endoscopic robot dedicated to endoluminal surgery!
After providing a prototype of this robot to the Harvard research laboratory, Kurt Azarbarzin (CEO of Endoquest) decided to offer Europe’s first prototype to IRCAD, thanks to his privileged relationship with the Institute.
The entire Endoquest team gathered at IRCAD France for an exceptional experimental lab session. Professor Xavier Serra Aracil, a renowned international expert from the University Hospital of Barcelona, successfully conducted an endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) procedure on an ex-vivo model.
This marks the beginning of an exciting journey! IRCAD is incredibly proud to be a part of it.

We would like to draw your attention that the « Vaccine Pass » is now mandatory in France since end of January 2022 and replaces the former « Health Pass » to access places that are open to the public, such as cinemas, museums, cafés and restaurants, hotels as well as the IRCAD Institute which welcomes participants in the framework of its courses and seminars. Thus, a PCR test without vaccination is no longer sufficient to take part in our courses.
