David Sixela, Roger Mizero, and Aimable Muzuri have just arrived in Strasbourg to complete their training begun in Kigali in 2018 and to conduct several application projects with the R&D team of IRCAD/IHU, run by Alexandre Hostettler.
The three Rwandan engineers will spend one month at IRCAD France, for a complete immersion within the R&D department of IRCAD/IHU, where they have already joined its team members.
Supervised by the Development Director, Flavien Bridault, and the Research Director, Toby Collins, they will focus on the following topics: Deep learning training, How to read a scientific paper, Sight training (Framework by the R&D team of IRCAD/IHU), application projects, and participation in an operating room experimentation with Ms. Seeliger.
They work daily under the supervision of Caroline Trompf, Didier Weckmann, and Luis Mendoza.
They are now part of the R&D team of IRCAD/IHU, run by Alexandre Hostettler.
