Signature of a partnership between the ELSAN Group and IRCAD

Professor Jacques MARESCAUX, President of IRCAD, and Mr Jérome NOUZAREDE, President of the ELSAN Group, officially signed a partnership today between the two structures, in the fields of training and research.

IRCAD joins forces with the ELSAN Group in the field of research and innovation. The ELSAN Group is the second biggest private hospitalization group in France. It has 82 health facilities which have served 1.2 million patients. Through this partnership, the ELSAN Group is promoting training sessions in minimally invasive surgery organized by IRCAD to the group’s 4,000 private practitioners. In the field of research, ELSAN is becoming a privileged partner of the IRCAD’s R&D teams. In order to sustain the Institute’s efforts to promote technology transfer, ELSAN will collaborate with IRCAD to test and evaluate new technologies developed as a result of research studies.
